How cookies work
Reviewed most recently: 1 May 2025
This Cookie Policy describes how MQL5 Algo. Ltd. (“MQL5 Algo.”, “we” or “us”) uses cookies and similar tracking tools when you visit mql5-algo.co.uk or use our trading platform. By continuing to use the Service, you acknowledge these practices. Cookie choices can be changed in your browser or in our preference centre.
1. Our use of cookies
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They enable core features, support service improvements and show us how the site is used. Session cookies disappear when you close your browser, while persistent cookies remain until their expiry date or manual removal.
We may additionally use web beacons, pixel tags, local storage and comparable technologies. This policy uses “cookies” as a collective term for all of them.
2. Cookie types
2.1 Essential cookies
These cookies are needed for the Service to operate. They help with sign-in, session handling, security and distributing traffic. Because some functions rely on them, this category does not require consent.
2.2 Analytics and performance cookies
These cookies gather aggregated, anonymised information such as frequently visited pages, errors and loading performance. We use these insights to improve the platform, and activate this category only after consent.
2.3 Preference and functionality cookies
These cookies remember settings such as language, time zone, chart arrangement and notification choices, avoiding the need to select them again on each visit.
2.4 Advertising cookies
Advertising cookies can personalise promotional content, measure campaign performance and limit repeated adverts. They are switched on only after you provide clear consent.
3. Cookies from other providers
Third-party services connected with the platform, including Google Analytics, Meta and LinkedIn, may place cookies. Each provider describes its own data practices in its privacy information, which we recommend reviewing.
4. Controlling your cookie settings
You can review or adjust cookie choices using the methods below:
- Preference centre: Consent can be changed or withdrawn at any time by choosing the “Cookie Settings” link in the website footer.
- Browser controls: Most browsers let you block future cookies, delete cookies already stored and set permissions for particular websites. Consult your browser provider’s guidance for instructions.
- Opt-out services: To opt out of Google Analytics, go to tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. For wider control over interest-based advertising, visit youronlinechoices.com.
Turning off some cookies may limit parts of the Service. Cookies required for essential operation cannot be switched off.
5. Changes to this policy
We may revise this Cookie Policy as technology, legislation or our working practices change. Material updates will be announced through the Platform. If you continue using the Service after an update, you accept the revised policy.
6. How to contact us
For questions about our use of cookies, email [email protected] or send correspondence to MQL5 Algo. Ltd., 200 Park Avenue, New York, NY 10166, United States, United Kingdom.
